Besides touch, smell, food and ambiance, physical health plays an important role during the sexual act. A satisfying union developed over time can contribute significantly to the health and vitality of both partners. For best results, both partners should be physically, emotionally, and spiritually attached. Ejaculating at the peak of the sexual activity has assumed more importance than any other aspect of love making. There is no doubt that reaching an orgasm together can be a magical moment that is shared together.

Sex is an integral part of our daily lives. The Indian tradition includes aesthetic and erotic pleasure as one of the four main goals of life. This probably was the motivation behind the creation of the popular Kamasutra, an ancient Sanskrit text that described rules for sensuous and sensual pleasure. The classical erotic stone sculptures of Khajuraho and Konark (India) stand as a silent testimony to this unparalleled comprehensive documentation of the sexual act, and the emphasis that it laid on sexual positions.

A man’s control over his ejaculation can be greatly increased by the sexual position the couple engages in. For example, the missionary position makes it difficult for a man to control his ejaculation. Coitus with the man on his back gives the control of the sexual act to the woman and lets the man relax. He is then in a better position to guide his partner.

It is erroneous to define premature ejaculation on the basis of the number of times a man ejaculates before his partner. A vast majority of women fail to reach an orgasm with the stimulation provided by penetration and thrusts alone. The vagina is significantly less sensitive than the clitoris, and in most of the regular coital positions, the clitoris is not stimulated. What is not generally known is that most of the sexual positions recommended for controlling ejaculation in men are the same as those that stimulate the clitoris during intercourse.

Sex is a biological necessity, and ejaculation and orgasm are only one aspect of the sexual act. In some instances, a woman may have multiple orgasms due to manual stimulation before penetration. The partner may ejaculate seconds after mounting. Such episodes are equally if not more satisfactory.

Men have a natural urge to ejaculate early. Such an urge should be treated as premature ejaculation. It should also not be associated with the time taken and the number of thrusts required to ejaculate. There are, however, ways and means to control ejaculation. The stop and start method is one way of controlling an ejaculation besides choosing the right position.

All said and done, the ground reality is that premature or rapid ejaculations seem to be a major cause behind barriers to prolonged intimacy. While there are numerous premature ejaculation treatments available today, they fail to provide a permanent solution like most of the other sexual performance products.
