5. How do I use CradleClear Lotion?
Squeeze a small amount of lotion into palm of hand and rub hands together.
Babies: Massage lotion onto baby's scalp, being sure not to exert pressure on the fontanelle. Leave on, preferably overnight. In the morning, very gently rub scalp with a soft, dry towel to loosen dry flakes that can be combed or brushed out. Follow this by washing with a mild baby shampoo.
Caution: For external use only. Contains groundnut oils and is therefore not recommended for people with nut allergies.

CradleClear Lotion comes in convenient topical cream format.
7. What is the shelf life?
The product expiration date can be found on the label. Please note: Some bottle types have the expiration date printed directly onto the bottle itself.
8. How long until support is seen?
With the first gentle rub onto baby’s skin, this natural cream gets to work and results should be noticed within the first few days. Skin health is supported thereafter with regular use.
9. How long will a tube last?
Each tube of CradleClear Lotion contains 20g of proven natural ingredients in an aroma care base; therefore a small amount will take you a long way. The recommended usage is twice daily, with the duration of the product depending largely on frequency of use (3-4 weeks on average).
10. Does CradleClear Lotion have any side effects?

11. What causes cradle cap?
It is inflammation of the oil-producing glands in the scalp that leads to cradle cap, though the reason this happens is not completely clear. The most likely explanation seems to be that hormones released by the mother during the final stages of pregnancy affect the unborn baby and cause excessive stimulation of the oil-producing glands. It is also possible that fungal overgrowth on the scalp contributes to the development of cradle cap.
12. How can I prevent cradle cap recurring?
Once your baby's cradle cap has cleared, frequent shampooing with a mild baby shampoo (though no more than about 2-3 times per week.) should prevent the condition coming back.
13. What else can I do?
After using CradleClear Lotion, gently rub your baby's scalp with a soft towel. This will loosen flakes which can then be combed or brushed out with a soft brush. Don't rub too vigorously or try to remove any scaly patches that are still adherent- these will come off over the next few days and it is best not to risk further irritation and infection. Follow by washing with a mild, baby shampoo.
