6. How do I use Wound Dr.?

Cleanse the area and apply PetAlive Wound Dr. to the skin three times daily. Cleansing with Clenzor is recommended.

Caution: In the case of insect stings or contact with poison ivy, please seek medical treatment if there is any swelling of the mouth or tongue or if your pet appears to have any difficulty breathing.

Best storage is in a cool (not cold) dark place out of direct sunlight such as a cupboard or closet. The product does not need to be refrigerated.

13. When should I take my pet to see a vet?

  • Any wound that won’t stop bleeding, does not begin to resolve within a few days or becomes infected should be seen to by a vet as soon as possible.
  • If your pet is bitten by another animal and the skin is broken it is important for you to consult a vet regarding infection and Rabies protection.
  • If your pet has been exposed to Poison Ivy and develops swollen eyes, mouth and tongue or appears to have any breathing difficulty, urgent medical attention is strongly recommended.
