I have five Shih Tzu, and one that is a little jealous. The Aggression Formula is the best. She willingly takes her 'pinch' and it has helped her. - Judi, IL, USA

What is Aggression Formula?

Aggression Formula is a safe, non-addictive, natural remedy containing 100% homeopathic ingredients especially selected to temporarily calm and reduce problem behavior in highly strung and nervous pets.

Aggression Formula contains ingredients well known to support peaceful attitudes – thereby contributing to socialization efforts and helping your pet to relax and enjoy the company of other people and animals.

It’s also an excellent companion to PetCalm™, which temporarily relieves symptoms of nervousness in pets during stressful situations .

Aggression Formula is presented in two convenient forms, dissolvable granules or spray, and either form may be taken depending on your pet's preference. Both forms are safe and easy to administer without fussing or fighting. The pleasant tasting granules are simply sprinkled in a favorite treat or on your pet's tongue and rapidly absorbed in the mouth, while the spray can be administered directly into your pet’s mouth or sprayed on their food or water.

Aggression Formula may be administered daily or used occasionally for pets that need it only for specific situations.

All PetAlive homeopathic products and biochemic tissue salts are manufactured in an FDA-registered and cGMP-compliant pharmaceutical facility under the supervision of qualified homeopaths and responsible pharmacists. Individual ingredients are listed in the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS).

Social behavior in pets

Well-behaved and sociable pets are a delight, but some animals have difficulty interacting with other pets, children or strangers. This can occur for a variety of reasons, including upbringing, socialization problems or past experience. Such pets may display a tendency to bite, growl, scratch or even attack in certain situations – causing a great deal of worry for their owners, who are often at a loss to explain or understand their pet’s behavior.

Although some breeds are definitely more prone to socialization problems than others, experts say there are usually underlying reasons for their behavior, such as routine problems relating to breeding, past abuse and physical discomfort. Sometimes the poor pet may just be trying to do its job (such as the dog that barks at the postman) but other times owners are desperate to find a solution for their pet’s behavior.

The natural way

There are many things which can be done to calm your pet and encourage good social behavior. Here are some tips:

  • Sometimes dominance issues or nervousness can play a part. Consult an animal behaviorist for insight into your pet's problem.
  • Animals that fight over food should be fed on their own in a different room.
  • If a normally calm animal suddenly changes into a socially difficult one, consult a holistic vet as soon as possible, as there may be underlying health problems.
  • Have there been any recent changes in your pet's environment, which may have upset him? Changes such as a new baby or a job that keeps you away for longer periods than before may be the explanation.
  • Regular exercise is a good outlet for pent up emotions and will help to keep your pet healthy and fit. But keep your dog on a leash at all times and consider investing in a muzzle if necessary.
  • Ensure your pet is eating a balanced, high quality diet with plenty of raw and unprocessed food (preferably organic). Many behavioral problems can be related to an inadequate diet. Some experts say that animals that are prone to fighting may be eating too much protein. Speak to your vet about introducing more carbohydrate (e.g. rice) and vegetables.
  • As a last resort, neutering your male dog or cat may help to control aggressive behavior.
  • There are many herbs which have been traditionally used to maintain nervous system harmony and support calm behavior. Used as part of a holistic approach, these can make all the difference to your pet.

Product appears to help calm my Golden Lab, but product is too expensive to use on a regular basis.

Our little Maltese can be such a sweetheart but he is very jealous and will not allow anyone near us without growling and will bite with very sharp teeth if anyone else tries to pet him. Your Aggression Formula has done wonders. I won't say that he loves other people more, but just that he is more relaxed and does not bite anymore. He may have a bit of a growl, but it is more like a grumble and he does not attack, which is a big relief! Now I can have friends again!

My dog was aggressive in several situations involving other dogs. Since starting the Aggression Formula, he is no longer aggressive and gets along very well in all dog situations. I am very pleased with the results of this product and will continue to use it.
  • My Cat Likes to Nip

My 7 year old tabby likes to nip when she's not getting attention. We just had a new baby, so she's not getting as much playtime as she used to or getting outside as much. She's an indoor cat but we would take her out in the yard to play daily. She didn't "bite" but we were concerned that she would nip at our daughter. Since we've been using this product she's completely stopped the nipping and the hissing. We are so happy that we don't have to worry about our little one getting scratched or bothered my Ms. Purfect... Thanx!!

I have to say that I was very skeptical about the effectiveness of this remedy, but I am over the moon about how well it has worked on our 4 year old Golden Retriever. We adopted him 3 months ago and he had a hard time adjusting to city life after coming from the South. Bicycles, buses, trucks, strangers, and especially other dogs on leash would set him off into a wild uncontrollable frenzy. It was hard to train him to have a different calm reaction to these things because his mind would be on another planet within a fraction of a second. I endured many bruises and scratches, and on two occasions he actually bit me (not hard, no skin broken, but still didn't feel good) during one of his fits. I was at the end of my rope and completely dreaded every walk with him. After just a few days of giving him the Aggression Formula, he is a totally new dog. He doesn't have any more explosive behavior and actually notices when I have a treat to give him if he calms down. He is on his way to being a well-behaved dog!! My only complaint is that these bottles are TINY and the bottle only lasted about 2 weeks when giving him doses 3 times a day, as recommended. It will be expensive to keep this up, but it's WELL worth the money

I purchased this product for my maltese/bischon mix.He was very aggressive towards my other smaller maltese. When I recieved it,I started my dog on it immediately and saw results just as quick. We were at our wits end and almost wound up giving up our dog and this made it much better for the dog and the fact thats it all natural was very important as we dont want to constantly be putting chemicals into our animals. I would recommend this product to anyone. A++++++++++++++++++
  • Helped significantly decrease my dogs aggression

In May of 2009 a black pitbull mix was brought to the farm where I keep my horses. He had no home and had probably been a country street dog for the first 6-8 months of his life. I agreed to take him on the spot. He was intact, had parvo, worms, and clearly never had a home. In April 2011 I brought a second dog into our house and Coltrane (my pitty mix) got extraordinarily aggressive. One minute they would be playing great and the next he had her by the throat trying to kill her. I hired a local behavioral trainer who is incredible and have been working on leash leadership techniques. I still felt we needed more so I looked into muzzles, homeopathic formulas, etc.... I found Agression Formula and didn't expect much. I was going on hope. BOY WAS I WRONG. With training and this formula, Coltrane is a loving, playful, happy, worry free dog. My only complaint is that Coltrane is a 65lb dog and the tiny bottles are not nearly enough. I have to buy 3 at a time which is a better value, but still a pain. It is a little pricey, but from what I see, its worth it. I do not plan on taking Coltrane off this formula any time soon.

I am so excited to be able to visit the dog parks again. My boxer had no one to play with... all the little dogs (or their owners) didn't want to play with a 90 pound boxer and he was big dog aggressive so we also had problem with anything bigger than 40-50 pounds. I now give him Aggression Formula a little while before leaving for the park... by the time we are there he is good-to-go! What a find... now we aren't the outcasts at the park anymore!!!

How has Aggression Formula helped others?

Aggression Formula has been used to promote calm behavior in cats and dogs. Here is what some pet owners have to say:

“I have never seen a problem like my cat had with any other cat. She would pounce on your legs, wrap her paws around and sink her teeth in while kicking and scratching fiercely with her back legs – really hurting! Nothing seemed to help but she has calmed down and become more laid back. Thank you for a great product that I can recommend to anyone!”

I won't say that he loves other people more, but just that he is calmer. He may have a bit of a growl, but it is more like a grumble – which is a big relief! Now I can have friends again!”

–Damaria

“I have two young male dogs, both adolescents that do not get along with each other, never mind any other male dog! This has made it hard to go for walks without chaos and I had just about given up before trying your Aggression Formula, with very good results. The best is that they are still happy and bouncy”

–GLD

“I have five Shih Tzu, and one that is a little jealous. The Aggression Formula is the best. She willingly takes her 'pinch' and it has helped her. My husband, who did not know I was using this, noticed that she was so much better. I am so glad I found this stuff.”
