Mary Ellen Kosanke, M.H.
Mary Ellen Kosanke is the Director/General Manager for Native Remedies and PetAlive. She received her B.A. from Kenyon College, Gambier, OH and her M.H. (Master Herbalist) from the Trinity School of Natural Health, Warsaw, IN. She also holds a Homeopathy Diploma with Distinction from the Centre of Excellence. After completing a pre-med course of study at Kenyon College, Mary Ellen realized the current western medical field was not for her and shifted to a career in Retail. After a varied career with several branded retailers she settled at Silver Star Brands, buying several categories until she found a home in Dietary Supplements. As her interest in health and healthcare grew she was drawn to natural health and natural health solutions. She found her passion when Silver Star Brands acquired the Native Remedies and PetAlive brands. Realizing she was only scratching the surface of the field she chose to continue her formal education at Trinity School of Natural Health and is a certified Master Herbalist. Always a life-long learner she continues her education in the field today.
